What I do

Welcome to my tiny corner of the Web!

I’m a freelance broadcaster, writer and TV director based in South Wales. After spectating, marshalling and competing as a rally co-driver, I’ve been hugely fortunate to have turned my hobby into a major part of my professional life, as I’ve worked in various roles within motorsport since I became freelance in 1995, right up to World Championship level.

I’ve directed live TV programmes in both English and Welsh for BBC Wales and BBC Network and worked as a Presenter, Reporter, Commentator and Press Officer on the FIA World Rally Championship (1995-2002), the FIA World Touring Car Championship (2004-2014), the TCR International Series (2015-2017) and TCR Europe (2018 – 2023). I also produced the TV coverage of the 2016 British Rally Championship for BT Sport and Channel 4.

In addition, I’ve produced video reviews of new cars for the Web and I’ve been a regular contributor on TV and Radio in both English and Welsh (and I’m always happy to discuss ways in which I could provide written and video content for a range of websites…)

You’ll also see that the other page on this site contains information on what I do when I’m not working. I hope that information might help to explain why I have a certain outlook on life…
